Petzl ASTRO® International Yellow/Black Rope Access Harness

The Petzl ASTRO® International Yellow/Black is a premium professional rope access harness designed for demanding rope access, work at height, rescue and technical access applications.

Built for professionals who spend extended periods working on ropes, the ASTRO combines excellent freedom of movement with high levels of support and comfort. 3D foam padding and semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide a comfortable, supportive fit during rope ascent, positioning and prolonged suspended work.

The ASTRO features a gated ventral attachment point, allowing compatible equipment to be connected directly to the harness for a compact and efficient rope access setup. An integrated Petzl CROLL® L chest rope clamp provides excellent efficiency during rope ascent and helps streamline progression on fixed ropes.

The wide waistbelt includes metal side attachment points, multiple equipment loops and CARITOOL tool holder slots, providing plenty of space to organise and carry connectors, descenders, rope access equipment and tools while working at height.

DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles provide precise adjustment, while FAST opening buckles make the harness quick and convenient to put on and remove, including when wearing gloves.

The distinctive Yellow/Black colourway provides the classic high-visibility Petzl professional appearance and makes the ASTRO well suited to industrial rope access and work-at-height environments.
