Single or Double Mode
One of the biggest advantages of the GRILLON is its versatility.
Double Mode:
Connect the GRILLON between the side attachment points of a compatible work-positioning harness and around a suitable structure or anchor. This configuration is ideal when the technician is supported by their feet and helps distribute the load comfortably through the waistbelt.
Length adjustment is made by pressing the pivoting cam.
Single Mode:
The GRILLON can also be connected to the ventral attachment point when the anchor is located above the user. In this configuration, the load is distributed between the waistbelt and leg loops.
Adjustment is made using the handle while controlling the free end of the rope.
Built for Industrial Use
The GRILLON includes a protective rope sheath designed to protect the rope against abrasive contact while also improving rope glide around structures.
The protective sheath can also be removed when using the GRILLON in single mode, allowing the technician to position themselves closer to the anchor when required.
Both ends feature sewn terminations with protective plastic sheaths, helping maintain correct connector positioning while protecting the rope from abrasion.
Multiple Lengths for Different Applications
The Petzl GRILLON is available in a wide range of lengths, making it suitable for everything from short personal positioning applications through to larger structures where considerably more reach is required.
