Petzl Chest'Air Chest Harness
The Petzl Chest'Air chest harness is designed to transform compatible seat harnesses like the FALCON, FALCON MOUNTAIN, AVAO SIT, and SEQUOIA SRT into fall-arrest harnesses. It is compatible with climbing and mountaineering seat harnesses, helping to keep a victim upright during helicopter evacuations.
Comfort and versatility are key features of this harness. It is equipped with 3D foam padding on the back and shoulder straps, providing additional comfort while hanging. The straps are widely spaced to reduce chafing. The DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles on the shoulder straps and ventral strap allow for quick and easy adjustments, adapting to different body types.
The FAST LT buckle at the chest enables quick donning and removal, even with thick clothing. The OK TRIACT-LOCK carabiner facilitates quick connection to the ventral attachment point of the seat harness. Two equipment loops on the sides are available for transporting small equipment.
The Petzl Chest'Air is constructed with durable materials like nylon, polyester, and aluminum. It weighs 525 grams and is certified to CE EN 361, CE EN 12277 type D, UKCA, and EAC standards. The maximum chest size is 140 cm.
